Are there any Query Tools (besides DataBrowser) for GemFire?

I've tried DataBrowser, and it's not bad, but it connects via JMX.

JMX is a problem for a couple of reasons:

1) It's a second set of credentials.  We are using GemFire Authentication and Authorization.  So to connect via the DataBrowser, we have to setup all the security properties PLUS enter a JMX username and password.

2) The current version of GemFire (7.0.x) does not allow you to query unless you have ReadWrite JMX permissions.   JMX ReadOnly permissions are not enough to query a region.  (This is a known issue, but it will not be fixed with GemFire 7.0.x).  Our developers need to be able to query production data, but we can't give them ReadWrite JMX permissions to production, so we can't use anything that connects with JMX.

It seems if I spent a weekend, I could write a pretty decent query tool that would connect to GemFire via the Locator using standard GemFire security (no JMX) and let me query and browse around the data in a region.  But if I can write it in a weekend, I'm hoping someone else has already written such a tool.

Thanks!
